Trängningsinkontinens hos kvinnor

Definition:
Plötslig och starkt behov av att tömma urinblåsan, som oftast leder till en större mängd urinläckage.
Förekomst:
Ren trängningsinkontinens utgör cirka 10–15% av patienter med inkontinens.
Symtom:
Symtomen är plötslig och stark känsla av att tömma urinblåsan.
Kliniska fynd:
Den kliniska undersökningen är oftast normal.
Diagnostik:
Socialstyrelsen rekommenderar en basal utredning.
Behandling:
Behandlingen är blås- och bäckenbottenträning, ev. med läkemedel systemiskt eller lokalbehandling med östrogen.
