Lesion av cutaneus femoris lateralis-nerven

Definition:
Skada på den sensoriska hudnerven anterolateralt på låret.
Förekomst:
Incidens är 33 fall per 100 000 patientår.
Symtom:
Domningar, parestesier och smärta i nervområdet.
Kliniska fynd:
Ibland nedsatt sensorik anterolateralt på låret. Positivt bäckekompressionstest. Normal benstyrka.
Diagnostik:
Baseras på typiska symtom och fynd. Kompletterande undersökningar är sällan nödvändigt. EMG kan göras vid misstanke om utfyllnad retroperitonealt eller roteffektion.
Behandling:
Tillståndet går ofta över spontant. I svåra fall kan det bli aktuellt med nervblockad eller kirurgi.
