Levermetastaser

Definition:
Spridning av maligna tumörer till levern, oftast från kolorektalcancer.
Förekomst:
Den vanligaste formen av cancer i levern.
Symtom:
Länge utan symtom. Efter hand förekommer trötthet, sjukdomskänsla, dåligt allmäntillstånd, tyngdkänsla i buken och frossa.
Fynd:
Kan bestå av ikterus, stor och knottrig lever, ascites, eventuellt lymfadenopati.
Diagnostik:
Provtagning bidrar sällan till diagnosen, bilddiagnostik (ultraljud, CT, MR) och biopsi behövs för diagnosen.
Behandling:
Kurativ eller palliativ behandling, beroende på cancersjukdomens stadium och histologi.
