Vulvovaginal lichen planus

Definition:
Ett inflammatoriskt, autoimmunt tillstånd i keratiniserad hud och slemhinnor.
Förekomst:
Ovanligt tillstånd där incidensen är högst i åldersgruppen 30–60 år.
Symtom:
Klåda, brännande sveda, smärta, dyspareuni och postkoital blödning.
Kliniska fynd:
Erosiv, papuloskvamös eller hypertrofisk lichen planus.
Diagnostik:
Eventuellt biopsi.
Behandling:
Lokala kortisonmedel och lokalbedövande medel. Om lokalbehandling inte hjälper kan peroral kortikosteroid ges. I vissa fall används de immunhämmande preparaten takrolimus eller pimekrolimus.
