Definition:
Avsaknad av befruktning efter ett år med oskyddade samlag.
Förekomst:
Infertilitet upplevs av 10–15 % av befolkningen i perioder eller permanent.
Symtom:
Vanligen inga symtom.
Kliniska fynd:
Vanligen normala kliniska fynd hos kvinnan och mannen.
Diagnostik:
Tilläggsundersökningar kan vara hormonprover, spermieundersökning och eventuellt bilddiagnostik.
Behandling:
Behandling riktas mot eventuella underliggande orsaker, eventuellt assisterad befruktning.
